  We have been to the New Bell Inn a few times over the past 6 months it has a lovely atmosphere and is dog friendly. The locals go out of there way to speak to us and make us feel welcome. We had lunch today albeit I only had a sausage sandwich and my wife a chili jacket but both were presented well and were delicious. The only small issue was there wasn't a water bowl for our dog in the garden however; this was discussed with the owners and one was put out within minutes.

  The owners go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Its very clean inside and there's a good choice of ales and lunch time meals. There's a lovely courtyard garden, off road parking and its a stones throw from the promenade!

  We came across this pub by mistake, we were walking our dogs on the beach which is practically next door, it was tipping down with rain so the 6 of us went in for a cup of coffee. From the outside the pub doesn't look much but inside it has clearly undergone a vast renovation it's what I call a proper traditional pub! Because the dogs were welcome we decided to stay for lunch, prawn curry was on the specials board so that's what I had and all six of us enjoyed our meals. I don't normally bother with reviews but felt I had to remark on the attentiveness the owners gave from the minute we walked in to when we left. Customer care goes a long way & these guys have got it sorted. Pubs are going under daily but this is one that deserves to stay! Well done!
